And, it features Tern's N-Fold technology for a super compact bike that can be folded or opened in less than ten seconds. Fast-shifting SRAM components and climb-conquering, wide-range gears make short work of your commute or your next cross-country journey. Tough-as-nails Kinetix rims are equipped with Schwalbe Big Apple tires for high-mileage durability and extreme flat protection. No matter how steep the road, or how twisty it gets, powerful Avid mechanical disc brakes are there to keep things under control. The S18 also sports a Joule 3 dynamo front hub to power the included front and rear lights, so you'll never be without lights on the road. Further tour-ready accessories include heavy-duty front and rear racks and a pair of full-coverage fenders. Since rider comfort is so important, Tern equipped the Eclipse S18 with Ergon grips and a supportive BioLogic Phia gel saddle.
